The Benicia Arts Festival is a free, citywide celebration of visual and performing arts, taking place in downtown Benicia on Saturday, June 6, 2026, with a Preview Party on Thursday, June 4 (5–7 PM).

The festival brings together 14 local art galleries, live music, theatre, dance, interactive art, street performers, and pop-up experiences throughout the city.

Galleries host exhibitions, artist demonstrations, and performances, each marked by a large, custom flower art installation created specifically for the event.

Actors portraying notable artists appear in participating bars and restaurants, blending art history, storytelling, and performance for adult audiences.

Street musicians perform throughout downtown, adding energy and movement to the day.

A festival trolley provides easy transportation between key locations, making the event accessible, walkable, and welcoming for all visitors.

The Benicia Arts Festival is designed to showcase Benicia’s creative community, support local artists and galleries, and invite the public to experience art throughout the city — free and open to all.
