Oct 25th, 11am-1:30pm, Sunday Afternoon Pottery Project (Ages 9-99): Sugar Skulls!

Our Pottery Projects focus on one particular project, and we walk you through it, so no experience is required! You can get as creative as you desire or just keep it simple, it’s entirely up to you.

Let’s get ready for Dia de los Muertos! We look forward to you joining us for this Sunday Afternoon Pottery Project, creating your own unique pottery “Sugar Skull” in preparation for this wonderful celebration.  One of the best parts of creating a pottery Sugar Skull is adding your own flare! In class a variety of colorful glazes will be available for you to design your own, unique Sugar Skull.

Dia de los Muertos is a celebration in remembrance of those who have passed on, and is celebrated on the 1st & 2nd of November each year. To assist in this celebration, we are offering an add-on for this class: if you like, we can add a photo holder to the top of your sugar skull (perhaps for your ofrenda, to hold your loved one’s photo). The photo holder is an additional $5, and you can let us know in class.

After class, we’ll take it from there, drying and firing your project for you, and will reach out via email when it is ready to be picked up, approximately 2-3 weeks after class.

Price is $58 (all inclusive: clay, tools, instruction, firing, etc.) and No Experience is Required! Ages 9-99 (anyone younger must have a parent taking the class with them & assisting them).
